 Learn to lead course

Had a busy week had a learn to lead climbing course for two days. The two clients learnt how to place protection with a variety of gear, clipping into quickdraw, setting up at the top of a climb, anchor selection, vector force's, route selection. In all we had a good few days. The rain held off but the wind was very strong.

Intro to Climbing course

In the two day intro course, the clients learnt the basics from belaying to setting up top rope system's. The system's were then climbed on. We had a great two days out on the grit, the weather was fairly kind to use even tho the wind was strong.

Intro to rock

This weekend I had two clients on an intro to rock. For the two days we looked at top and bottom roping, tying knots, belay skills, anchor selection, placing and removing protection. Plus the weather was kind to us for the weekend which is always a bonus. We all had a great weekend.

Scrambling

The weather was good to us today for the morning scrambling. The wind was picking up during the morning, this made it more exciting along the ridge.
